Butler's motel and Nature Museum
Update on March 5, 2021
Dear friends:
Due to inaccessibility to Neah Bay Makah Reservation, for a year now, we converted
units into rentals. We do not know when the Makah Reservation will reopen. We were a
small motel, to begin with, therefore, when the Makah Reservation does open, Butler's Motel
may be operating, but on a very small scale. On our "about page" of this web site, you will find
a list of other motels that may be available for business when the Reservation opens.
Thank you for your understanding.
Richard & Nancy Butler
Important Notice: Neah Bay is currently closed to visitors due to the COVID-19
pandemic. Closures include hiking, beaches, the bay, fishing
the boat launch and marina. Traffic is stopped at the
Makah Reservation line and only local residents are allowed
access into Neah Bay. Due to these circumstances, Butler's Motel
is not taking reservations at this time.
Closure took affect on March 15, 2020. It is uncertain when this closure will be lifted. Even though the State of Washington has lifted some restrictions, the Neah Bay Reservation will remain closed until the Neah Bay Makah Tribal Council announces that it will be open. The Tribal Council is in close contact with local health officials and weighing their advice in order to make safe decisions.
Motel Prices: Rooms - $85.00
Cedar cabin 40x12 plus covered porch - $125.00
All of our rooms have wi-fi, satellite T.V., private bathrooms, microwave, small refrigerator and coffee pot.
The cedar cabin has a full kitchen and dining room table.
We are located on eight acres of natural habitat, one block from the bay and about three miles from the ocean.
Reservations only made by calling 360-640-0948. We do not take reservations electronically
and we do not go through any booking company.
See "Services" section of this website for details on each individual unit.
See our "About" section for a list of other Neah Bay motels or cabins since we run out of vacancy on a regular basis.
